Talk Title: In vitro Diagnostics and integration of Smartphones for Applications on Different Platforms

Short Biography

She has received her Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry at Ege University in 2001. She is currently a full-time Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, at the same University. Her research is focused on the integration of biomolecules and other species with micro and nanoplatforms to create novel functional bio-based surfaces. She has published more than 250 SCI articles and supervised 50 M.Sc and Ph.D thesis.

  • Recipient of the 2011 Outstanding Young Scientist Award by M.PARLAR FOUNDATION (METU)
  • Recipient of the 2010 Outstanding Young Scientist Award by FABED (Feyzi Akkaya Science Foundation)
